In celebration of Independent Retailer Month, we look at some of the great independent retailers who we have either let space to or acquired space for.
As Fitzrovia specialists, we have let many retail units in the area. This includes a number of spaces on Great Portland Street, one of Fitzrovia’s premier shopping destinations. One such space is 130 Great Portland Street which we recently let to Maître of Thyme which is a holistic wellness boutique specialising in organic and natural products. In addition, they also offer bespoke nutrition plans, as well as yoga, Pilates, and osteopathy.
In addition, we also let space at 68 Great Portland Street to fashion designer Joshua Kane. Offering both bespoke tailoring and ready-to-wear luxury pieces, Joshua Kane offers a broad array of different collections, both in menswear which is their primary specialism, and womenswear. Their innovative and unique designs are famous throughout the fashion world and you are certain to find an elegant outfit perfectly suited to your needs.
We also let a great retail space to independent residential interior design retailer, 5mm Design. Their name comes from the idea that even the tiniest details make a difference to a room and pride themselves on their precision workmanship. Located at 100 Great Portland Street they have a fantastic retail unit which is currently being let by our professional team of commercial agents.
Another recent Fitzrovia letting which our team completed is at 45 Newman Street, Fitzrovia. The letting was to Le Fix which is a natural beauty bar and concept store. They are an experiential retailer with an array of things to do in the store. They recently announced their soft launch at this new location which we let to them and we are certain that they will be a great success.
Additionally, we also have a dedicated commercial acquisitions team who have helped find the ideal retail space for a number of retailers. One notable retailer who we have acquired space on behalf of is The Unit London which is one of Mayfair’s premier art galleries. They showcase and sell art from a wide variety of artists including American oil painter Joshua Hagler, South African abstract artist Ryan Hewett, and hyperrealist painter Serge Marshennikov who hails from Russia.
