Based in a fantastically historic area of Fitzrovia, Margaret Street is an area which has had a long and famous association with culture, the arts, and beautiful architecture.
From the stunning Grade I listed Gothic Revival All Saints Church, to fantastic bars such as Beat London, Margaret Street has a lot to offer. Famous for its musical past, Beat London was once called the Speakeasy and this world renowned venue played host to musicians including Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. Margaret Street is steeped in history and culture and this is just a small taste of what is available.
Margaret Street has many local independent restaurants and cafes including Coco Di Mama, Curators Coffee, and Dindin. In addition, there are also many large chains located on Margaret Street such as Benugo and Pret a Manger. This little corner of Fitzrovia has something for everyone. In addition, this area benefits from great public transport links.
Margaret Street is just a few minutes’ walk from Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road Station with fast connections to multiple different tube lines. In addition, there is also easy access to international and mainline train stations such as Victoria, Euston, and Kings Cross St Pancras. These excellent transport links make Margaret Street an ideal place to live, and with the recent introduction of the Night Tube on weekends, you will never have to worry about getting home if you live in this part of London!
