Why We Think Berkeley Street Would be the Ideal Location for you

October 5, 2017    |   Panny Antoniou

One of London’s coolest and trendiest streets, Berkeley Street establishments are the regular haunt of many celebrities and even royalty! Could it be the ideal location for your office?

London is full of streets with history, charm, and character; it is what makes this city so vibrant, diverse and full of life. One of our most famous streets is Berkeley Street in Mayfair which was built in the 18th Century and is adjacent to the world-renowned Berkeley Square. This square is also home to the most haunted house in London, 50 Berkeley Square which has been supposedly haunted since the Victorian era.

However, this area is far from a ghost town! It is a vibrant and dynamic part of the capital, and Berkeley Street is one of the most sought after locations in central London for new restaurant openings. Some of the famous restaurants and bars in the area include Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s eponymous restaurant Nobu, Asian and Italian restaurant-bar Novikov, and the ultra-fashionable Sexy Fish. In addition, there are also many clubs in the area including exclusive member’s clubs Charlie, Mahiki whose famous guests have included Prince Harry, and Funky Buddha which is also a favourite location for celebrities.

This area benefits from fantastic transport links, just a stone’s throw away from various hub stations including Green Park Tube Station, Piccadilly Circus Tube Station, and Charring Cross station which provides rail connections throughout the country. In addition, it is located near what is arguably the most famous hotel in the world, the ultra-luxurious Ritz Hotel whose reputation precedes itself and, thus, needs no introduction.

All these attractions and transport connections mean that this is also a highly sought-after location for an office. This part of Mayfair is incredibly sought after for hedge funds and investment companies especially, with nearby Curzon being nicknamed ‘hedge fund alley’. With companies such as Tristan Capital Partners, Egerton Capital, and Eden Rock Capital Management, this part of Mayfair is the ideal place for any financial services business or other service based industry.

Here at Robert Irving Burns, we are delighted to announce that we have a great property available to let on the famous Berkeley Street.
